2018 cornerback chooses Maryland over Nebraska and Louisville
Cornerback Ken Montgomery Jr has been difficult to read throughout his recruitment. With his ideal 6’1 frame and speed the 4-star defensive back picked up a lot of fresh attention late in the recruiting process and managed to fit a visit to Lincoln in last weekend.
Montgomery’s recruitment came down to the Huskers, Louisville, and Maryland with the Terps coming out on top on signing day.
The Huskers have a single cornerback in the 2018 class and with a thin depth chart have a lot of time to offer recruits as early as this fall. The Huskers will turn next toward Texas defensive back Cam Taylor who is set to announce his college decision soon.
