Coach Frost and Co. stayed active in the junior college ranks after signing day and land Will Jackson from Mesa Comm College
Short on bodies and depth in the secondary, the Huskers added Mesa Community College cornerback Will Jackson today. Jackson enrolled at Kentucky out of high school and used his redshirt during the 2015 season before being dismissed from the team in early 2016 for a violation of team rules.
In 2017, Jackson landed at Mesa Community College in hopes of revitalizing his career and made an immediate impact for the Thunderbirds. He played in 9 games for the Thunderbirds and racked up 4 interceptions, 24 tackles, and recovered a fumble in 2017. Standing at 6-3 200lbs Jackson has the size and speed to be a contributor at the next level and should help the Huskers strengthen their secondary this fall.

Jackson is immediately eligible this fall and should have 3 seasons of eligibility remaining.
