Rutgers Vs. Nebraska

Time: TBA
Location: Memorial Stadium – Lincoln, Neb.
Watch: TBA

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights will kick off Nebraska’s Big Ten conference slate this season. Impressively, with 14 returning starters and a brand new quarterback in Louisville transfer Kyle Bolin and the return of do-it-all senior wide receiver Janarion Grant, you shouldn’t expect much out of Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights went 0-9 in Chris Ash’s first year as Rutgers’ head man and they simply don’t have the athletes to get out of the Big Ten cellar anytime soon.

Junior defensive back Saquan Hampton is worth touting, but only he can do so much for a defense that surrendered 38 points and 451 yards per contest in 2016. No matter what problems the Huskers are having up to this point in the season, the Scarlet Knights should offer up a game to cure all ills if not get some backups game experience.
