Ohio State Vs. Nebraska

Did anyone get the number of that truck? Last year’s 62-3 debacle saw Tommy Armstrong knocked out of the game and the Huskers unceremoniously dismissed from Columbus.

The Buckeyes return stud quarterback JT Barrett to operate a potent offense that churned out 459 yards and 39 points per game in 2016. Mike Weber (1,096 yards, 9 TDs) returns to the backfield. Things could get interesting between Ohio State’s receivers and the Blackshirts as OSU loses three of their best wide receivers. The offensive line loses center Pat Eifflen, but surely they’ll manage.

On defense, Brutus’ Boys return seven starters including top-tier talent in defensive end Tyquan Lewis, linebacker Jarome Baker and defensive back Denzel Ward. If there’s one area that Nebraska may have an impressive advantage, it’s special teams. OSU must replace their kicker, punter and top punt returner.

Can the Huskers make this clash a little more competitive or — dare we suggest it — knock off Urban Meyer’s crew?
